Rent Increase Cases

The lawsuit for increasing the rental price is a lawsuit filed by the lessor for the redetermination of the rental price.

In the absence of an agreement between the parties in the lease agreement regarding the increase in the rental price, in accordance with Article 344/2 of the Turkish Code of Obligations, if the rental price does not exceed the rate of change in the consumer price index of the previous lease year according to the 12-month averages and the conditions of the rent determination case are met, the judge will make a determination in accordance with equity.
